I have been to the Minute Clinic in Third Lake, IL three times in the past few months. Two of those visits I had The Provider and she was absolutely WONDERFUL and AMAZING!!! She was SO friendly and reassuring! She explained everything about the test that I took . She is extremely knowledgable and compassionate! The other nurse practioner who works there (I am so sorry I do not remember her name ). was also extremely helpful, caring, and reassuring. What a wonderful staff!! I could not have had a better experience! I wish I could have them be my regular primary health doctors 😊

Nurse practitioner was not very patient or welcoming- she was condescending and we did not felt heard or understood. We decided to look for care somewhere else.

My Practitioner Was Extremely Kind, Genuinely Concerned, and Very Helpful!

I had entered my insurance information in the system when filling out the pre-appointment forms. It said that my insurance would be accepted. When I gave my card to the nurse practitioner at our appointment, she indicated that she couldn't get the insurance to go into the system and asked if I was okay with them billing us. I asked why she couldn't get it to work and she said she didn't know. I asked again if it's because they don't accept my insurance she said that wasn't the issue, she just couldn't get it to work in the system, but she "pushed it through" anyway. She then asked again if I was okay with them billing us if the insurance didn't work. I have very good insurance so assuming it's accepted by CVS (which I was told it was), then I don't understand why she couldn't get it to work and was so insistent on them charging me for the visit. My daughter's ear was in a lot of pain so I continued with the appointment. She was able to unblock my daughter's ear and it felt better. The next day CVS charged my credit card over $300 for the visit (the appointment took 5 minutes), no mention of the status of my insurance, no bill to show what was done for that $300. Now I can't even submit to my insurance because I have no print out of the appointment. I feel like she didn't know how to work with my insurance and therefore just gave up and didn't want to deal with it. I'm very disappointed and will not be returning to Minute Clinic.

The provider was over an hour late and the past several times I've seen her she incorrectly puts in my prescription, I dont have any issues if I see someone else its just her. I can never get it fixed easily it's too much of a hassle and many phone calls while I'm at work. I won't be continuing to use the clinic anymore its just too much work for me and it shouldn't be the case.

I was seen very quickly. My NP was very friendly and thorough- a very positive experience from beginning to end!
